“Thanks to Hagen Instruments, our recent performance was an outstanding success. While preparing for the Yeosu Gifted Youth Orchestra ‘Rising Star Series: Night of Collaboration’, we realized that the personal instruments of our soloists were not fully suitable for the large stage of the Yeulmaru Grand Theater. After learning about our situation, Mr. Cho graciously and wholeheartedly offered to lend our student performers, one Prime model violin, one viola, and two cellos. We were truly touched by this generosity and the genuine care shown for young musicians.

At first, I must admit I was somewhat uncertain. However, as time passed, the instruments’ sound matured beautifully — developing a warm, resonant tone that hardly felt like a new instrument. Both our performers and instructors were highly satisfied with the sound and playability.

During the concert, the rich tone of the Hagen instruments soared above the accompaniment of our 80-member orchestra and filled the 1,000-seat theater with clarity and depth. It was truly a breathtaking experience for both performers and audience alike.”

“It’s usually very difficult to find a truly good viola at most instrument shops, but the Hagen viola completely changed my mind. Contrary to the common prejudice against Korean-made instruments, its sound was exceptionally beautiful.

As a student majoring in music, I was both hopeful and a little worried about choosing a Korean instrument. During the selection process, I tried several foreign-made violas, but no matter how many I compared, I kept coming back to the warm, rich tone of the Hagen viola — and that’s what convinced me to purchase it.

From the very first moment, it didn’t feel like a brand-new instrument at all. The tone was already mature and resonant, and the instrument itself looked solid, well-crafted, and full of life. After playing it for about a month, I can feel the sound becoming smoother and more expressive. Even in a highly soundproofed room, the tone projects beautifully and fills the space — something I really appreciate.”

“Thanks to this wonderful instrument, my child’s playing has improved quickly, and they’ve grown to love the violin even more. In less than a year, my child was invited to join the school orchestra!”
